US! 4 Years ago today, FSB was born. In honour of such a special day, I asked the guys to pop down their thoughts, past, present and future.
Dave -“Wow FSB is four years old and it seems mad that I’ve only been a part of it for 18 months. I guess this is as good an opportunity as any to say thanks once again to the dedicated FSB community that have been driving our incredible growth in 2011 and long may your support continue. Four years old, but we promise that this is just the start for FSB and in just a few weeks our new vision and strategy for FIFA will become clear. Happy birthday old girl!”
Tom – “Hard to believe I’ve only been here a year, feels like a lot longer. It’s been an awesome ride so far, with plenty of learning along the way. The site has snowballed in that time, the feedback we get from you guys is great and it encourages us to keep pushing forward. As Dave said, this is just the start, 2010/11 has allowed us to find our feet, so we’re looking to build on that and expand further in the next 12 months. Thank you to everyone who reads and comments on our posts, critical or positive, it all helps. Happy birthday FSB!”
Adam – Time flies. Fans remember when we were on blogger, and dreaming of an influential community site, with influential community leaders. A site that bridges the gap between the guys making the game, and the people buying the game. 4 years later, and not only have we achieved that, we’ve surpassed all expectations.
FSB is a site that I feel truly started the growth of the network, expanding on a solid base. But like all good sites you need great people running it. We’ve been so lucky in that regards, always having guys passionate about the game, and driven in providing the fans with the news. Many happy returns to FSB, and more importantly, a huge congrats to the guys who have carried it there.
P.S. My milkshake brings all the boys to the yard.
Suff – “It seems like yesterday we launched FSB, yet in only a few years it has grown beyond our expectations. I always felt that the FIFA community needed another outlet, a channel for fans to communicate with each other and the developers. I am glad that FSB has grown to become a prominent FIFA community in such a short amount of time. Many friends have come and gone along the way, but I wanted to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to everyone involved with FSB past and present. Without you none of this could have been possible. Saying that, we’re just getting started and we have some fantastic stuff in the pipeline to cater to the wants and needs of this brilliant community. Happy Birthday FSB, and a million more to come!”
It goes without saying that we extend a huge thanks to the readers. We genuinely love what we do, but it wouldn’t be possible without you guys. Thank you all for the continued support and feedback.
