That’s right, folks, Rock Band is back! Harmonix has officially unveiled its latest addition to the popular music game series, Rock Band Blitz.
No price for the game has been revealed yet, but we do know that it will be available for download via Xbox LIVE and the PlayStation Network this Summer.
Don’t worry, you won’t need to purchase any more plastic peripherals, as Rock Band Blitz will be playable using the Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 control pad. Kind of like the awesome PlayStation 2 titles, Frequency and Amplitude. Oh the memories!
The game will ship with 25 songs, but you’ll be able to use DLC you’ve downloaded for previous Rock Band titles as well, giving Blitz a potentially massive track list. To add to that, you’ll also be able to export Blitz’s 25 songs for use in Rock Band 3.
