Creators of the Ratchet and Clank and Resistance series, Insomniac have stated that they won’t give a answer to what game/s they are currently working on but they will say that its ‘more than one’ and they ‘can’t wait to show it off’.
James Stevenson from Insomniac posted the blog entry on Insomniac’s official website
here and he had the following to say about what’s currently going on at Insomniac towers –
“If you’re hoping that I will announce a future title here, you will be disappointed. That will not prevent me from telling you that we are busy working here on some really cool stuff that we can’t wait to show you.
“What we will tell you is that after the launch of A Crack in Time, there was some well-deserved time off for folks. We began to ramp up on other projects, and are currently underway on more than one game right now (which will be no surprise to anyone who knows how our production pipeline works).
“We’ve been trying to evolve our production pipeline to give us more time for iteration, as well as better efficiencies along the way.”
Interesting words and what could it be? Resistance 3?, A new Ratchet and Clank?, A brand new IP?, Who knows but it will be interesting to see what will be the next title from the guys at Insomniac. My guess is both the above titles. In which order and when, who knows but let’s hope sooner rather than later.
