In an interview with Gametrailers TV, SCEA boss Jack Tretton stated that the best is yet to come with regards to Sony’s big announcements with GDC being a ‘teaser’ and that E3 will be the place these announcements will come out. He said –
“GDC was only the frosting on the cake and I’m saving the batter for E3. We will absolutely bring the heat. There is a lot to talk about”.
Also with the rumours still flying about that Killzone 3 will be announced at any point and more likely at E3, Jack also said that he isnt sure when Killzone 3 will be announced and if it will be at E3 or not –
“We own Guerrilla [Games] and they did a great job on Killzone 1 and 2. I don’t know whether you’ll see announcements about it [at E3], but I can promise you a Killzone 3.”
I know one thing for certain and that’s is the future of the Playstation 3 is looking very rosey indeed. What will get announced at E3? Uncharted 3? Resistance 3? Killzone 3?. We shall have to wait and see but one thing is for certain, its going to be a blast.
