Evan Wells (co-president at Naughty Dog) has today announced that Jak and Daxter Collection will be making its way to the PlayStation 3 this coming February.
The announcement come a couple of weeks after Sony confirmed the existence of the collection, stating they would be sharing more information soon. Well, they definitely weren’t fibbing then!
As expected, the Jak and Daxter Collection will include Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, Jak II and Jak 3. The bundle of platforming goodness will allow you to experience the adventures of the awesome duo in 720p (HD) with crisper visuals, smoother gameplay animation and full stereoscopic 3D. All three PlayStation 2 classics will be remastered by Mass Media, who will be working closely with the team at Naughty Dog. Finally, each game in the collection will feature full PS3 trophy support.
