Activision have confirmed that the guys that bought you Blur, Bizarre Creations will develop the next title in the James Bond franchise, James Bond: Blood Stone. Daniel Craig is back as Bond (of course) along with Judi Dench as Q . One addition im sure none of us was expecting was the inclusion of singer Joss Stone. She will appear in the game as a sultry Bond girl and also produce an exclusive track called “I’ll Take it All”. The storyline for the title is penned by Bruce Feirstein who previously worked on Tomorrow Never Dies and The World Is Not Enough.
The gameplay will span across various destinations including Athens, Istanbul, Monaco and Bangkok and will have various types of gameplay aspects like cover based firefights, hand-to-hand combat action and compelling driving sequences. Also mutiplayer will feature up to 16 players when the game launches.
Activisions licensing boss, David Pokress said the following-
“James Bond 007: Blood Stone captures the cinematic intensity of a Bond film by immersing players in an intriguing conspiracy that will require them to think and act like James Bond.”
“In addition, the game will feature a diverse array of multi-player modes and debut strategic objective-based gameplay that will allow Xbox 360, PS3 and PC players to battle as teams of spies and mercenaries through authentic Bond locales.”
