New Year’s Resolution: Play all the games!

January is in full swing and by now you’ll more than likely be scrambling through your Quality Street tubs, shovelling the toffee and coconut remnants into your pie hole. Your fridge’s beer stock is at an all-time low, the cheese has gone and if Santa treated you to a new video game you may well be close to completing it.

But there’s no need to panic. Game developers and publishers foresaw this New Year lull and have decided to fill it with lovely games and that quantity is plentiful. Without further ado, here is a list of games that are out this month:

11th January

  • Mario and Luigi: Bowser’s Inside Story + Bowser Jr’s Journey (Nintendo 3DS)
  • Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe (Nintendo Switch)
  • Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition (Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One)

18th January

  • Ace Combat 7 (PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One)

22nd January

  • The Raven Remastered (Nintendo Switch)

25th January

  • Resident Evil 2 Remake (PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One)

29th January

  • Genesis Alpha One (PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One)
  • Kingdom Hearts III (PlayStation 4, Xbox One)
  • Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy (Nintendo Switch)

So there we have it. January doesn’t have to be blue, there are plenty of new titles to sink your teeth into. That said, you don’t want to go overboard because February is shaping up to be absolutely ridiculous!
