Sony have released that they will be releasing Guerrilla Games Killzone 3 multiplayer mode as a free standalone download on the PlayStation Network.
These plans were confirmed on the latest Sony Blogcast. However, whilst the mode will be free and will contain all the maps, progression through the multiplayer will be capped at a certain not yet specified level.
This means that Skills and Weapons will also be locked once you are past the level cap. Those who want to carry on playing will be able to pay $14.99 for the whole multiplayer experience.
