Konami released an official statement on their Japanese site informing the world they have acquired the Copa Libertadores license for PES 2011 and beyond.
The competion is the South American equivalent of the UEFA Champions League, another exclusive license held by Konami. This is unbelievable news, and shows just how Konami are playing to their strengths, and actively working to satisfy the fans who still adore PES/WE.
