Konami have lately been saying that they are looking at entering into individual partnerships for PES 2017 and beyond. Following the premium partnership with Barcelona, a new partnership with Liverpool has today been revealed.
Liverpool will be fully licensed in PES 2017 and after a post-release update, Anfield (including the new Main Stand) will be perfectly recreated in the game, along with their world famous ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’ theme.
What is even better is that Liverpool legends will also be in the game such as Robbie Fowler, Ian Rush and Michael Owen. Jurgen Klopp’s ‘Gegenpress’ style will also be one of the tactics that you can use in PES 2017. As per the other teams, every player will be detailed fully, with Player ID and Team Styles recreated in the game.
Are you happy to have Liverpool as a partner in PES 2017? Let us know in the comment section below.
Extremely happy !!!
Brilliant news, I was always going to buy PES, but now I might buy 2 copies. This is amazing news and anfield yes !
I hope they have a higher number of stadiums licenced or not. KONAMI I love you again.
Adam Bhatti said there will be more than last year, which was only 24. We should find out in a day or two.
I got a feeling that PES has lost MAN UTD and Bayern license instead. I don’t care about kits because there is Option Files but this means no Allianz Arena or Old Trafford in the game. Or maybe no Bayern team at all. Not even fake names. I am not… Read more »
As a Liverpool Fan this news is the best thing ever but I 100% agree with you
Are you sure about these teams not being in the game or are you just assuming they are not in the game? Because I haven’t read anything saying they’re exclusive to FIFA. From my understanding, these deals are not like the deal PES has with Barcelona. I could be wrong,… Read more »
As far as I know PES can have only two licensed club for English league. That is Arsenal and Liverpool. So, Manutd is most likely not licensed. Furthermore, FIFA has signed exclusive partnership deals with Manutd, Bayern and Juventus. As PES does not have Premier Leage, Seria A or Bundesliga… Read more »
You were right man, I was wrong. PES got gutted this year.
EA has been extremely agressive in licensing.
PES should allow face and stadium editing with option and image files on PS4.
People dont”t panic will be a lot of licansed teams like BAYERN LIVERPOOL DINAMO ZAGREB MAN. UNITED. Good Job KONAMI i love pess for ever pes pes pes
Theres no bayern or licesned man united. You call youre self the biggest pes fan but dont even know what been happing with the license lately. Go play FIFA 17 when it comes out they have Croatia now
I was right: NO Bayern. No license for Juve and Manutd. Only two Spanish teams licensed. No Real Madrid. And not much licensed stadiums. Not even sure if the stadiums for CL and EL final are present. Check the official pes website.
Adam said on twitter that 28 stadiums at launch, (actually 27, they always count San Siro and Giuseppe Meazza as 2 stadiums) and 30 when they add Anfield and Signal Iduna Park. Not sure how many of those are licensed though.
My biggest concern is : although we have mee stadiums such as signal iduna , camp nou or anfield. We have also lost Allianz arena , Old Trafford , Juventus stadium and probably other licensed stadiums as well.
Anything with South American license will be revealed in 2 weeks at some Latin American gaming show.
Okay hopefully better news then.
Dortmund, Leverkusen and schalke licenced great. Dortmund ground in cool.
Munich players are all in game and there stadium looks like konami stadium so recreating them won’t be hard.
