Konami 'Would be Happy' to Make Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance Sequel

Konami have stated already that they would be happy to make a Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance sequel but only if players like their upcoming Raiden adventure first.

Speaking to Eurogamerproducer Yuji Korekado stated:

“If people like Metal Gear Rising, if the fans who play this game ask for more, that would be awesome, That would be great for us and we would be happy to consider working on another game in Metal Gear Rising.”

He also spoke about working with Platinum Games on the game and stated that Konami couldn’t of created Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance on their own.

“This is a game we definitely couldn’t have created at Kojima Productions, Also, this is a game Platinum Games couldn’t have created on their own. We think of this as a product that came from the collaboration of both. We both have our strengths and they were put together. So if we were to create a sequel we definitely want to work in a similar partnership.”

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance will be released on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on February 21st, 2013.
