THQ and Obsidian Entertainment have today released new screenshots showcasing their upcoming title, South Park: The Game, and they look mighty impressive.
Developed in collaboration with creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker, South Park: The Game will put you in the virtual shoes of the new kid in town, as you embark on an “epic role-playing adventure” with series favourites, Stan, Kyle, Cartman and Kenny.
It’s obviously hard to completely judge the game without playing it, but going by the screenshots released today, it seems like Obsidian has managed to capture the look of South Park extremely well.

South Park: The Game is currently scheduled to be released sometime during the third quarter of 2012 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
