A new video from Capcom goes ‘behind the game’ of Lost Planet 2 to talk about what the Akrid are and how the ecosystem of the planet EDN III has changed since the first Lost Planet game. The video features director Kenji Oguro and producer Jun Takeuchi sharing some knowledge about the background of the game world.
Lost Planet 2 takes place ten years after the first game and the things have changed on the planet. It’s warmer for starters but bigger and even more dangerous Akrid have appeared but the war between various faction over thermal energy continues.

The game will be available for the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 on May 11.
