Good news, fighting game fans! Mad Catz has today announced that they have begun shipping their Street Fighter x Tekken fighting game controller range for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
The new range of fighting game controllers, designed with the soon-to-be-released Street Fighter x Tekken in mind, includes the FightPad SD, Arcade FightStick PRO and Arcade FightStick V.S.
Darren Richardson, the President and Chief Executive Officer of Mad Catz stated:
“We are very excited to continue our support of the Street Fighter franchise with a new range of FightSticks and FightPads which include many features requested by the community. The range further demonstrates our strategy to build innovative products for passionate consumers.”
Just in case you didn’t know, the Street Fighter x Tekken Arcade FightStick V.S. uses genuine Sanwa Denshi arcade components and features a unique chassis which enables you to play in single configuration mode or to join two sticks together via the Arcade FightStick V.S. Connector Kit (sold separately) for an ultra realistic two-player arcade experience.
If you’re not really a FightStick person, then you’ll be happy to learn that the Street Fighter x Tekken FightPad SD features a 15% smaller chassis than previous FightPad designs, inspired by the gaming preferences of Street Fighter producer Yoshinori Ono.
