If there is one thing lacking from the gamescape these days it’s sentient corn with teddy bear sidekicks themed games. Finish Line Games has seen this obvious gap in the market and has set out a fully fledged plan for market dominance by creating a game called Maize.
Maize is a first-person adventure/puzzle game that’s situated in an abandoned farm that resides on top of a research lab. The scientists in this compound completely misunderstood a memo from the U.S. Government and created sentient corn. Obviously. The zany setting lends well to the cast of equally strange yet intriguing characters you’ll meet on your journey of self-discovery and unearthing the secrets of the farm.
Maize is available now on Steam for £14.99 and I’d suspect the price for both PS4 and Xbox One will be similar when it releases on the 12th.
