Capcom have announced that Marvel vs Capcom: Origins is now available to download via XBLA for 1200 Microsoft Points.
A PlayStation Network version will also be coming very soon and will cost £11.99/€14.99. The game comes as a compilation of two of the most popular arcade games of the ‘90s -Marvel Super Heroes and Marvel vs. Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes. Both have been kept arcade-perfect and there has also been added features sure to tap into arcade nostalgia while meeting today’s online needs. It comes packed with Marvel and Capcom fan-favourite characters and crazy, beloved gameplay that throws a powerful punch.
It offers both the 1 v 1 gameplay of Marvel Super Heroes coming with the unique Infinity Gem system and the two-on-two carnage of the original Marvel vs. Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes, featuring a tag system, assists, and the wild Duo Team Attack. Bringing forth a host of features never-before-seen in these games. It also adds GGPO-enhanced online player with 8-player lobbies and a spectator mode. It also features HD graphical upgrades, dynamic challenges and replay saving.
