Executive producer at BioWare, Casey Hudson has confirmed that their upcoming game, Mass Effect 3 is now Gold.
When a game has gone gold, it means the development is now complete and that it no further delays will be had. Speaking on twitter, Casey Hudson confirmed the game had gone gold via the following statement:
“After an awesome effort by our team, I’m proud to announce #MassEffect3 is officially GOLD! Many surprises await you – this week and beyond.”

Mass Effect 3 is set to be released for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC in North America on March 6th 2012 and in Europe on March 9th 2012.
