Square Enix has today released the fifth gameplay series video showcasing the soon-to-be-released, Final Fantasy XIII-2.
The video, titled “The Moogle”, contains brand new footage showing off one of Final Fantasy’s most beloved creatures.
In Final Fantasy XIII-2, Mog (yes, that is the name of the Moogle) accompanies Serah on her epic adventure, and has several functions; each of which help give you more variety and choice over your overall experience. For instance, Mog transforms into Serah’s weapon during combat, and The Mog Clock allows you to pick up bonuses, or penalties during battle. Mog also helps you by finding lost artefacts, difficult to reach objects, and items hidden in time.

Final Fantasy XIII-2 is set to be released in North America on January 31st 2012 and in Europe on February 3rd 2012. The game will be available on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
