Konami yesterday revealed their line up that would appear at this years Gamescom which takes place in Cologne, Germany between August 18th – 22nd. Titles which were expected to be at the show have been confirmed including Pro Evolution Soccer 2011, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow and Def Jam Rapstar for example but it seems that Metal Gear Solid: Rising was excluded from the list. We thought that was that and that the title would not make it to the show but it seems there still could be a chance of this happening according to an article on vg247.com from a Konami rep which stated that the list of titles that has been announced is just provisional at this time and that the list of titles featuring changes on an ongoing basis.
“Decisions on Rising and Snake Eater 3DS will be made nearer the time,” he said.
“That provisional list will continue to change on an ongoing basis.”
Lets hope that Metal Gear Solid: Rising does indeed make it to Gamescom as that would be amazing. We will be there to check it out if it is and bring you tons of footage from the show floors in Cologne.
