Fancy a go on the Xbox One? Well your in luck as Microsoft have revealed they plan on taking the next-gen console on tour.
The tour starts tomorrow, October 1st right through to the end of the year and the Xbox Team will will visit over 75 different cities around the world through a series of experiential events. The “Area One” tour will let people in Europe, US and Canada get hands on with the Xbox One line-up of blockbuster games, while the Xbox One “Test Drive” will see Xbox hitting the road like never before to give people hands-on gameplay in unexpected places.
It will visit cities across the globe including London, Vienna, Paris, Berlin, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Toronto where fans will be able to get their lucky hands on the upcoming next-gen titles such as Forza Motorsport 5, Ryse: Son of Rome, Killer Instinct, Dead Rising 3, Kinect Sports Rivals, Crimson Dragon, Max: Curse of the Brotherhood, Zoo Tycoon, Minecraft and more.
Attendance will be free but spaces are limited and you will need to be over 18 years old in order to enter. The Tour dates are as follows:
- Philadelphia – October 3rd – 6th
- Paris – October 10th – 13th
- Toronto – October 10th – 13th
- Chicago – October 17th – 20th
- Vienna – October 17th – 20th
- Atlanta – October 24th – 27th
- Dallas – October 31st – November 3rd
- Berlin – October 31st – November 3rd
- Phoenix – November 7th – 10th
- San Francisco – November 14th – 17th
- Dublin – November 14th – 17th
- Los Angeles – November 21st
- London – November 21st – 24th
They have also unveiled ‘Test Drive’ which gives more chance for players to get their hands on the Xbox One. cross the UK, Germany, France, US and Canada, Xbox will cruise the country in custom “Test Drive” vehicles, appearing at festivals, university campuses, retail centers and more in search of gamers ready to take the new generation of entertainment for a spin.
