It seems that Microsoft are ready to drop the Xbox LIVE Gold requirement for a number of entertainment apps, including Netflix.
The chaps over at ArsTechnica have had it confirmed to them by a number of sources that Microsoft is set to make a number of Xbox LIVE entertainment apps free for all members.
The drop in Gold requirement could come as soon as E3 next month and is also set to include apps such as Hulu and Amazon Instant Video.
