Microsoft have stated that they are in no rush to bring out the next title in the Gears of War series.
The Gears of War series was recently acquired by Microsoft and will be handled by Black Tusk Studios. Speaking about Gears of War’s future, Microsoft Studios boss Phil Spencer stated on twitter:
Still working through plan, I can say first original GoW from BT has to reignite franchise and grow it, won’t be a quick turn.
And I believe we’ve built the right team to achieve that goal, I just want to give them the time
