Modern Warfare 3 Tops UK's 2011 List Of Best Selling Games

by

It should come as no real surprise, but Modern Warfare 3 has been officially crowned the best selling game of 2011 in the UK.

Activision’s first-person shooter not only topped the all formats chart, but also headed up the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 charts too. Two EA titles took the remaining podium positions in the all formats charts, with FIFA 12 grabbing second place and Battlefield 3 taking third.

The rest of the top ten doesn’t feature too many surprises, even with Zumba Fitness taking fourth place ahead of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Batman: Arkham City, our game of the year for 2011, ended up in tenth place. This, of course, means we are extremely angry at any of you that did not buy it, and you shall soon be punished. Ah, who are we kidding, we love you guys way too much to do that!
