After the surprise E3 announcement, news on EA SPORTS Football Club has gone a touch quiet but IGN have provided some extra detail on this new addition to FIFA 12. One line in particular from the article has got me incredibly excited and anyone who played EA’s Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit last year I’m sure will agree.
“In many respects it appears Football Club is FIFA’s equivalent of Need for Speed’s innovative Autolog, which enabled you to keep track of how your friends were doing and issued challenges in-game.”
Now if EA SPORTS Football Club gets anywhere near to the success of Autolog then we’re in for a real social FIFA 12 treat this year and for a game so global and so diverse it’s no surprise EA want to add that persistent social experience to FIFA.
