Fans of Evolution Studio’s, MotorStorm Apocalypse are in for a treat when a new update for the game hits PSN tomorrow. Various new content has been added into the game and we’re sure fans of the series will be very happy with what’s on offer.
First off, we have a new track called The Rock, which is set upon an abandoned prison island near the bay. Just as you would expect, this new track contains various different routes, so take your pick wisely as there is no such thing as an easy ride in the world of MotorStorm!
New single-player races have also been included in the update via Special Events Packs. Each pack lets you play a character from the festival and, in turn, you can grab yourself up to 120,000 chips if you manage to grab 1st place in all six events. The first pack is free in this latest update with new events packs coming to the PlayStation Store free of charge over the coming weeks.
Other new additions included are Weekly Challenges which give you the chance to grab more chips to unlock new rewards and bonuses. The guys at Evolution Studios (after feedback from the community) have been working hard to tweak each vehicle type and make the races more balanced/competitive. Various vehicle types have been improved including – Supercar, Dirt Bike, Superbike, Racing Truck, Muscle Car and, finally, ATV.
To round things off, the servers powering the game have been improved to provide players with a more robust and reliable online MotorStorm experience.
