2K Sports has today announced that the Legends Showcase DLC for NBA 2K12 is now available for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
The content is available to download now via the PlayStation Network for £6.30 and via Xbox LIVE Marketplace for 800 Microsoft Points.
Legends Showcase introduces a brand new basketball experience to NBA 2K12, set in New York City’s iconic Times Square with gorgeous cel-shaded visuals. The DLC will allow you to select from more than 300 of the NBA’s all-time greatest players, including Michael Jordan, Larry Bird, Magic Johnson and Dr. J. You’ll be able use these players to compete in authentic pick-up games from 1-on-1 up to 5-on-5, play mini-games, such as 21 and H-O-R-S-E, and take advantage of new features like the 2-on-2 Teammate Challenge and 3-on-3 Era Challenge.
To add to the content mentioned above, you will be able unlock current NBA players to create unique match-ups between legends and current stars. Wait, it doesn’t end there! If you’ve made use of the “My Player” feature in NBA 2K12, you’ll be able to bring him into the mix and battle the legends of the NBA to see how he stacks up against the best ever. Finally, Legends Showcase also includes Classic Quick Match, a new mode that will allow you to play online with the NBA’s Greatest teams in a regular simulation setting.

NBA 2K12 is out now for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The epic basketball game is also available on the PC, Wii and PlayStation 2 and PSP.
