Last week, on friday, we were all in awe at the new God Of War III footage courtesy of GameTrailers TV (GTTV) show on Spike. This week the show has done it again, this time in the form of two new trailers, Mafia II and the newly announced “Surprise Sony Sequel” SOCOM 4.
SOCOM 4 is more of a teaser and shows little in the form of gameplay, but nonetheless looks exciting. Mafia II on the otherhand gives us plenty to indulge in, this game really doesn look like Game Of The Year material.
Zipper Interactive’s SOCOM 4 is due for a Fall 2010 Release, whereas Take Two’s Mafia II, which was due for a summer release, has now been delayed for the “fourth fiscal quarter” of the current year, which goes from August to October. Although somewhat disappointing as we all just want to play it, but i still prefer these little delays if it means a fully finished and realized game in the end.
