Ubisoft have released a brand new video for Steep, featuring none other than Eddie ‘The Eagle’ Edwards.
Eddie become the first person to successfully play a videogame in a vertical wind tunnel. Eddie managed to finish in the medal positions, thanks to his undeniable sporting prowess and his well-documented determination. Talking about his STEEP challenge, Eddie said:
I couldn’t wait to give it go. I love a challenge but this was unlike anything that I’d ever tried before. As soon as I started playing, I was determined to glide past that finishing line.
Tom Goldberger, Senior PR Manager at Ubisoft, also commented:
When we first developed the concept of playing a videogame in a wind tunnel, we instantly knew that there was only one person that we could call to take on the STEEP challenge. Along with being a British icon and an absolute gent, Eddie stunned us all by not only mastering the challenge, but landing himself in the medals table too.
