NGBDD – A sombre scan for news

by

Hello, dear viewers. We’ve made it through Monday unless you’re from the US, in which case have a good Monday, it wasn’t too bad really. I was preparing for a big ol’ post covering the news from today and the weekend but it’s been a bit quiet I’m afraid.

The COD WWII announcement dropped on Friday and there has since been a dodgy photo taken of some printed material. It’s not 100% confirmed but definitely looks legit and gives us a release date of November 3rd alongside mention of a beta, which goes without saying. We’ll undoubtedly learn more about this midweek when the announcement drops.

Scanner Sombre

Good news though! Scanner Sombre, the next title from Introversion Software, creators of Prison Architect, has been announced and is coming to PC this week! On the 26th April players will be able to get their hands on Scanner Sombre and you can check out the trailer below to see what it’s about. Granted, not a lot is revealed in the trailer, which is probably a good thing for a title that looks incredibly mysterious, but it’s certainly got an eerie vibe to it and reminds me a lot of Unfinished Swan. Should be one to look forward too and you don’t need to look too far forward which is nice.

Can you outlast the horror of this sequel?

A new trailer for Outlast II dropped late on Friday and it’s pretty damn creepy. I’ve yet to pluck up the courage to play the first game, and this one looks even scarier, so who knows if I’ll ever play it but it certainly looks great, both visually and thematically. Not long to wait for this one either as the game releases tomorrow on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Leave us a comment if you’re deciding to pick it up and reasons for me to grow a pair and play the first game.
