Nintendo have sent us over details on a new Nintendo 2DS New Super Mario Bros.2 Special Edition bundle which will be released on July 4th.
The bundle comes including Nintendo 2DS White + Red plus a copy of New Super Mario Bros. 2 pre-installed on a 4GB memory card. It will also include a new Coin Rush mode, where fans can get their hands on 30 extra challenges that are premised upon the pursuit of gold. The official description for Coin Rush mode is as follows:
Coin Rush is a fun and challenging game mode in New Super Mario Bros. 2 where players are tasked with collecting as many coins as possible in a set time. The Coin Rush add-on content packs included as part of the New Super Mario Bros. 2 Special Edition offer courses of different difficulty levels, with players able to share their scores for Coin Rush with other players via StreetPass and show off their riches.
