Nintendo Announce New Updated 'Streamlined' Wii Console

by

Nintendo have announced that a new Wii model is on its way to stores before Christmas, and that the current model will be discontinued once the updated version is released.

The new re-designed Wii will be a streamlined version of the current model and will only be able to be placed horizontally, not vertically like the current model. To add to that, the ability to use both Gamecube software and peripherals is not possible as this option has been totally removed by Nintendo to keep the new model as streamlined as possible.

Inside the box, you will recieve a Wii MotionPlus and Nunchuk, two games (Wii Sports and Wii Party) and, of course, the new updated Wii console.

Nintendo also stated any other bundles to coincide with this new updated system will be revealed in the near future.

I'm a huge fan of the PES, MGS and Uncharted series', and anything else in between. If you love a good gaming discussion or want to talk about anything else, then feel free to get in touch.
