Nintendo Direct News Round Up & Trailers

Nintendo has just aired a new Nintendo Direct presentation, and we thought we would create a post where you can find all of the news in one handy place!.

They started the show by announcing the launch of Animal Crossing Plaza on the Wii U. This gives a fantastic chance for Animal Crossing fans to  talk about their towns and share images with players from all over the world. This will run until the end of next year. Images taken in the latest Animal Crossing game can be shared as well as custom design QR Code patterns from their SD Cards, and organise them in albums.

The Animal Crossing: New Leaf: Welcome a Friend Promotion has also started today. Those who register the game from today will  receive a Recommendation Code. You can then give this Recommendation Code to a friend. If your friend registers a Nintendo 3DS XL up to 7th October, and enters this Recommendation Code, your friend will be able to claim a free Download Code for Animal Crossing: New Leaf

It has also confirmed that Luigi is a playable character in Nintendo’s upcoming title, Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS in order to celebrate ‘The Year of Luigi’ in which seems Luigi starring in a huge number of video games and also celebrates the 30th anniversary of Luigi’s first ever appearance in a videogame.
