Nintendo To Keep Fans Happy With Upcoming Games + Content

Nintendo are set to keep fans happy this year with the amount of games and content that will be heading to the Nintendo 3DS and Wii.

They have so far already announced that Super Mario Bros 2 will be coming to the Nintendo 3DS this August, announced a Mario  Tennis Open release date of May 20th in North America and in Europe on May 25th and also announced a new System Update that will be heading to the 3DS on April 25th.

That is not all, as played who have recently enjoyed Kid Icarus: Uprising and have been collecting the AR Idol Cards will also be pleased to see that Nintendo Europe and Panini have entered into an exclusive partnership. Players will soon be able to purchase additional packs of Kid Icarus: Uprising AR Idol Cards and as well an album to keep them all in.

There will also be two new Pokémon downloads on offer this month for the 3DS via the Nintendo eShop. The first offering will be a new motion-controlled shooting game which will bring Pokemon into the real world, in front of the players eye by using the AR feature of the 3DS. Players will need to move their 3DS and aim at the Pokemon in order to capture them. There may even be a chance to catch extremely rare Pokemon in this way. Once captured, players will be able to transfer them into the upcoming Pokemon Black 2 and Pokemon White 2, which are both released later this autumn.

The second downloadable offering is a brand new Pokedex. The original Pokendex 3D, was available last year as a free dowload and contained details on over 150 Pokemon from the first Pokemon Black and White versions. The new version is able to check out every single Pokemon in the history of the Pokemon series. The new Pokedex will also have many other new features which will be revealed at a later date.

Wii players are also in for a treat as Nintendo and TECMO KOEI GAME are set to re-launch one of their scariest horror titles from the legendary Project Zero series exclusively for the Nintendo Wii.  With all new motion gameplay features and an innovative two player modes, players can look forward to Project Zero 2: Wii Edition which will be released on June 29th.

Spirit Camera: The Cursed Memoir will also be available on the same day exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS. This game, which also comes packed with a special AR Book which will be needed to play the game in order to fight spirits, solve puzzles and also explore the world around you in a very unique way. The game uses the 3DS’s built-in 3D camera and AR features in order to watch the story come to life which will blur the line between reality and in-game like never before. Both Project Zero 2: Wii Edition & Spirit Camera: The Cursed Memoir will share a special link. Once players have completed  Spirit Camera: The Cursed Memoir, they will unlock special modes.  Players will then be able to enjoy a special surprise on the cover of the game manual for Project Zero 2: Wii Edition using your Nintendo 3DS “Spirit Camera”.

For the first time on a home console, the rhythm based action of Rhythm Paradise returns in Beat The Beat: Rhythm Paradise which will launch on the Nintendo Wii on July 6th. It will feature 50 brand new rhythm games and the characters and hilarious situations that fans of the series have come to know and love. There is also a special edition to the European version of the game where players will have the soundtrack from the original Japanese version of the game.
