OnLive App Released For iOS/Android


Cloud gaming platform OnLive has today released an app for iOS and Android mobile devices.

OnLive was previously accessible via PCs and the MicroConsole, but now has extended its service via an app for over 500 million mobile devices over Wi-FI or mobile networks in the UK and US.

A growing number of top console games have been adapted for touch-screen control, which include the award winning L.A. Noire. Family game LEGO: Batman will be given FREE to those who download the OnLive app. Those who purchase the new OnLive Wireless Controller will be able to play nearly all of the OnLive games library thank to its compatibility with most tablets and many phones.

OnLive’s service brings console games to users on demand. You are able to play these games without use of a disc or lengthy downloads regardless of the performance of the device be used. Steve Perlman, OnLive founder and CEO had this to say:

The games which are compatible with mobile and tablet devices include L.A.
