PES 2011 holds firm in Italy
Known to be a key PES loving country, Konami will be relieved to see PES 2011 overcome a record breaking FIFA 11 launch weekend, by pipping them to no.1 spot in Italy. (Source)
In a week where FIFA 11 dominated PES in the UK, it’s a quick reminder that while EA have strengthened their grip on these shores, it’s a different situation elsewhere in Europe. While we questioned if Konami were correct to release the game a week after FIFA 11 in the UK, releasing same day as a strong rival in other parts of Europe proved to be the right one.
