Konami have today confirmed that Data Pack 3.0 will be released for PES 2016 on March 24th.
March 24th is of course the same day that PES 2016 owners get the UEFA Euro 2016 DLC free of charge.

Will there also be a gameplay patch or is that it for pes 2016? I will crack open a bottle of champagne if they fix manual headers as I’ve only been asking since PES 2014 – so at least for PES 2017 I would be nice
I’ve only started playing manual recently. What’s the issue with the headers? I’ve realised you have to direcr before pressing the shoot button, which can be difficult. But is there something else?

Just went back into training mode again today to test manual headers – still broken dude – you’ll see for yourself when headers go left when you’ve aimed right and vice versa etc
I’ve just tried it on Training mode, it works for me. I aim before I press and it goes where I direct it. I’m not using L2 just have it set on manual shooting.
For me it’s broken with the L2 method as I want regular shooting but to occasionally use manual. Of course I aim before I shoot as well. Have you tested it with the regular shooting and L2 method?

I agree with what you have to say but PES don’t really do the best with what they got. For example instead of having a 2015 Copa Libertadores and the 2016 editions. This causes duplicates in ML, so why cant we have updated south american teams in Rest of South… Read more »
That is true about the bad use of these competitions, you would have to start a league and then get first or second place to go to the libertadores, there was a year where you could put any team in these competitions including your ML team. I don’t know why… Read more »
Man I’ve been playing PES 2016 since the demo, and I haven’t kicked not 1 penalty while playing against the CPU. Overall, I’ve only seen 5 penalties while playing against the CPU, 4 committed by me and 1 in a CPU vs CPU match. We’re talking about 100s of matches… Read more »
