The long awaited first Data Pack for PES 2016 has been released today.
Coming alongside title update 1.02, the Data Pack adds in the correct line-ups and transfers. However, these line-ups and transfers are only correct as of August 30th. It also includes 77 new player faces, 12 pairs of boots, 8 new clubs and a new match ball.
The title update as explained by Konami provides “minor adjustments for a variety of modes to improve the general gaming experience”. There are also fixes for the following:
- While players are under treatment for an injury in a match for Become A Legend mode, not able to change the game speed with [L1]?[R1]
- Playing a match in [myclub COMPETITIONS], [Reserves] would not be displayed in the [SQUAD MANAGEMENT]
- If [Pass Support Level] is switched [OFF], Low Cross cannot be made by ? button ×2
- Super Cancel is requested at the same time as the Power Gauge is shown for a Shot or a Pass is requested, Player Movement cannot be controlled.
- While Shot Type is set to [Advanced], pressing the button just for a moment results in shooting the ball to the direction of the touch line.
- COM Team Players is set to the lower than 2 players in the Free Training, COM would not shoot a Free Kick in COM’s possession.
It is rather frustrating that the transfers are only up to date until August 30th. Konami have definitely had more than enough time to make sure all transfers are up to date. We can only hope that the remaining transfers are updated in the game as soon as possible.

Has this update affected edit data? This has been a problem in the past.
It will reset all your edit data l. For example, Borini is back to Liverpool on mine.
But names and kits should be unaffected?

Absolutely ridiculous. I had transferred more players manually myself through the edit menu than this. This is not acceptable. What’s their excuse I wonder.

The current Konami CEO is taking the company in the wrong direction, they fired the lead designer of the Fox Engine also my with Kojima and other staff. I won’t be surprised if Pes 2017 doesn’t improve graphically since they are scaling down triple A game development.
So much cry before the updates, after the updates, annoying. Couldn’t you give better time of your life providing/describing the games issues or emailing them requesting fixes ?? For anyone who prefer FIFA please go play it. PES will be played by someone else.

worthless as manual is not available online. because it would give to much freedom to play and scripting wouldn’t decide the winner anymore.
Ï only play the online game with manual controls. Never play offline. I know it is even easier offline with manual controls though. I like it hard.

When playing against the CPU refs definiitely need fixing.
When using the L2 manual modifier there is still a problem with headers – especially on the advanced shooting setting.
High troughballs are so easy, its like fifa 15 ping pong shit.I played a lot of matches where people only give long passes and there was nothing to do about it. What happend with pes?
I know it’s annoying, but at least we can edit the transfers ourselves. It’s not the worst thing that can happen. At least the game-play is great again.
With this data pack being released, It is incrible how ugly this game become. It seems Konami is being very lazy and they are not doing a good job.
