Its been revealed that the popular Facebook application, PES Football Association will be closing on April 7th.
In a statement made today, Konami stated:

It is with extreme sorrow that we have to communicate the closure of PES-Association Football. The last match of the Championship and Cup held March 23, after which you can continue to access the game until April 7, 2014, the date of final closure. We apologize in advance for the inconvenience. The entire team of developers would like to thank all the fans who participated … pato to the growth and improvement of the game. We are truly grateful and we hope that you will continue to enjoy and appreciate the game until the closing date. In anticipation of the closing of the game, we turned off the purchase of coins. Coins have on your account can be used until the end of the game. The Community Management Team will provide you with more information shortly through our social channels.
