Konami have announced the launch of the PES 2013 UEFA Champions Festival Tournament.
Konami along with PlayStation will be offering PES 2013 players the chance to enter this amazing competition that could see them watch the UEFA Champions League Final live at Wembley Stadium on May 25th.
The competition is available for PES 2013 PlayStation 3 players aged 18 and over. To enter the event, players just simply have to head to www.peschampionsfestival.com and enter the tournament using their home country, PSN ID and contact details. Once entered, every online game registered users play against each other throughout the tournament will count towards their final place in the league table.
There will be 6 individual tournaments. These will begin at 12:01am on the Monday of a Champions League match week and end on the Sunday at 11:59pm. Whoever tops the individual league tables for each of the participating countries will then qualify for the online final for that region. The best two runners-up for the whole 6 tournaments will also be sent through to the online final making up the eight players needed. The local champions will then travel to London and compete at the ultimate stage in European club football, the UEFA Champions League.
Users can enter each of the 6 different tournaments without putting their details in each time. Just simply keep playing and winning and you will find yourself at the top of the local leader table. The league tables can also be checked at www.peschampionsfestival.com. Players can only secure one place at the finals. The dates for the six tournaments are as follows:
- Monday 4th March to Sunday 10th March 2013
- Monday 11th March to Sunday 17th March 2013
- Monday 1st April to Sunday 7th April 2013
- Monday 8th April to Sunday 14th April 2013
- Monday 22nd April to Sunday 28th April 2013
- Monday 29th April to Sunday 5th May 2013
The online finals will be held on May 6th (evening). The winners will be flown into London for May 24th with the UEFA Champions League Final taking place on May 25th. The tickets to the final will be awarded to the winner of the overall tournament with other prizes being given courtesy of Konami.
