Sad times for a large part of the community, with news that the PES6 servers are due to close on February 2nd 2009. Thanks to Antracsa from the forums for the heads up.
It’s something that shouldn’t be an issue in all honesty; we’ve had two versions since the release of PES6, yet the disappointment of both PES 2008 and 2009 has meant that many haven’t been able to move on. It never ceases to amaze me how the editing scene keeps churning out new patches for the game, prolonging it’s longevity even further.
PES6 perhaps was the last flawless title to be released by Konami. Will they ever hit those dizzy heights again?
