This news post is going to be a sad one I’m afraid as today UK FIFA Community Manager Phil Wride left EA, heading to pastures new. We’ve known for a little while now that Phil was moving on but today he addressed the community as a whole on the EA FIFA Forums. For those of you who haven’t seen his “Open Letter” yet, follow this link.
What a lot of people won’t realise is that along with his open work on the FIFA Forum and EA social media outlets, Phil also did a tremendous amount for the community sites and individuals behind the scenes. Helping to make some really positive changes in the way we interact with EA and how our feedback gets back to the team in Vancouver.
The whole of the FIFASoccerBlog team wish Phil every success in his new venture and we hope that he’ll still drop in from time to time to see what we’re all up to. Good luck and keep the guns pumped.
