
Sony Computer Entertainment Europe have announced that sales for the PlayStation 3 have reached a milestone of 30 million units across Europe and PAL territories.
The PlayStation 3 comes delivering high award winning quality since its launch. It has evolved making it a fantastic entertainment experience with the likes of LittleBigPlanet, Gran Turismo and Wonderbook: Book of Spells. It also offers a great range of movies, TV series and music directly from the system.
After its introduction in 2007, a number of services has been introduced to improve the service. These include the free to access PlayStation Network, PlayStation Plus, which offers fantastic value and savings, PlayStation Move motion controller and the recently launched new peripheral Wonderbook.
In September 2012, a new PlayStation 3 was launched with featured a new design and a downsized form factor. In October 2012, SCEE redesigned the PlayStation Store, offering a more streamlined and accessible store experience, including a stunning new user interface, simple search, and powerful content discovery.
