PlayStation 4 Wireless Stereo Headset Revealed


Sony have today revealed the  The Wireless Stereo Headset 2.0 for the PlayStation 4.

This fantastic new headset will be released a week today, February 10th and features stunning 7.1 virtual surround sound, as well as a crystal clear, noise-cancelling internal microphone for chatting to friends on Party, when playing online multiplayer.

It can be charged via the USB Wireless Adapter and used on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PC or Mac. It can also be used on the go with the PlayStation Vita and other mobile devices.  This headset is ideal for travel and storage, so when you’re not using it, simply fold your headset up.

You will also be able to download a companion app in order to enhance your gameplay, music and movie experience on PS4 and PS3. An image of the headset can be seen below:

The headset announcement also coincides with a new system update which will be available tomorrow on the PlayStation 4. It comes bringing compatibility support to PS4 for the PULSE Wireless Stereo Headset (including the GTA V limited edition version) and the original Wireless Stereo Headset.

The PlayStation App also had an update released for it, which come bringing in the ‘Live from PlayStation’ feature, allowing you to browse and launch videos of live gameplay on your phone or tablet via USTREAM or Twitch.
