PlayStation Now is dropping in price

by

The time to play is now (yeah, that was pretty obvious)

You heard it right. PlayStation Now is dropping in price for all regions, starting today! And if that wasn’t enough to whet your appetite, a handful of games are also appearing on the platform but there’s a catch.

First up, the good news. From today you’ll be paying the following to access PlayStation’s game streaming service:

  • UK: £8.99 – monthly / £22.99 – quarterly / £49.99 – yearly (from £12.99 / (N/A) / £84.99)
  • EU: €9.99 – monthly / €24.99 – quarterly / €59.99 – yearly (from €14.99/ (N/A)/ €99.99)
  • US: $9.99 – monthly / $24.99 – quarterly / $59.99 – yearly (from $19.99/ $44.99/ $99.99)
  • CAN: $12.99 – monthly / $34.99 – quarterly / $79.99 – yearly (from $19.99/ $44.99/ $99.99)
  • JP: ¥1,180 – monthly / ¥2,980 – quarterly / ¥6,980 yearly (from ¥2,500 / ¥5,900/ (N/A))

That’s a saving of £4 per month if you’re from the UK and my maths has served me right. It’s not be sniffed at.

Now the good news followed by some immediate “not good” news. Four new games are coming to PlayStation Now today!

  • God of War
  • Grand Theft Auto V
  • inFAMOUS Second Son
  • Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End

But they’ll be removed on January 2, 2020… Still, that gives you the holiday break to smash through some of the best games available on the PS4 all at a cheaper monthly price, so let’s look at the bright side, eh?

Dad. Designer. Web Developer. Pretty boring tbh.
