Sony Australia’s content services manager Nino Kalogeropoulos has posted images of launch day stock of PlayStation Vita’s arriving in Australia ahead of its release on February 23rd.
He stated that each palette is unloaded, unpacked, and prepped for final shipping to retail and also that each palette contains 500 units and as you can see from the amount of palettes below, thats a hell of a lot of PlayStation Vita’s right there. The exact numbers of how many will be available to Australian gamers on launch day is unknown but its been reported that GAME have run out of their allocation for launch day of the wi-fi model and that there will not be a new shipment till March. The PlayStation Vita is released in North America and in Europe on February 22nd and in Australia on February 23rd.
