Pokémon X & Y Sell More Than 4 Million Units in First Two Days

Pokémon X & Y have only been out a matter of days but it has been revealed by Nintendo that the pair have sold together more than 4 million units world wide in 2 days.

These set of Pokémon titles was the first global launch in franchise history. When combining and comparing regional data for previous launches, Pokémon X and Pokémon Y would be the fastest-selling Nintendo 3DS title of all time and is tracking ahead of the last Pokémon RPG title, Pokémon Black 2 and Pokémon White 2, by more than 70 percent.

It seems that Pokémon just keeps getting more and more love and is one of he strongest brands in the history of videogames. Since 2002, five sets of Pokémon titles have combined to exceed 10 million units sold worldwide, with three sets combining to surpass 15 million units. That list includes:
