Project Cars Confirmed For The Wii U

by

Slightly Mad Studios has confirmed that they are developing a Wii U version of Project Cars.

The developer that bought us Need for Speed: Shift in 2009 and Shift 2: Unleashed in 2011 confirmed on their official website that the game is being developed for the Wii U alongside versions of the game on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. Project Cars is a community-developed game using a development portal called WMD (World of Mass Development) where an open beta will see gamers use tools to develop, test and show the world what they have created through various feedback stages. WMD is said to be the first of many titles that the studio will develop using this system to bypass normal publishing costs.

No official release date has been announced for the game but with the Wii U still not having an official release date either, it seems like the Wii U version will not be released till towards the end of the year.

I'm a huge fan of the PES, MGS and Uncharted series', and anything else in between. If you love a good gaming discussion or want to talk about anything else, then feel free to get in touch.
