Project Ogre Will Be "Very Open" Says Kojima

Hideo Kojima has stated that his next title, codenamed Project Ogre, will be “very open” and “very free”.

Having previously worked on more linear games, Kojima’s statement comes as a slight surprise. Maybe he has been playing Skyrim, and picked up a few ideas from Bethesda’s epic title!

Speaking to CNN, Kojima stated the following:

“The kind of game I’m making is some game that has a very wide entrance, a very open entrance. Rather than making something very cinematic, [I plan to] make something very free.”

In addition to that, CNN say he described Project Ogre as being set in a very open world where players can wander around and explore freely. He also added, players should still be able to find new sights and worthwhile adventures after having played the game for as many as 100 hours.

An open world game, developed by Hideo Kojima? Consider us extremely interested. What do you guys think? Be sure to let us know via the comments section below.
