Sales of the Playstation 3 around the world have been getting better and better over the past months and now according to Enterbrain, a parent company of Famitsu the PS3’s sales are doing exactly the same in Japan with Sony now hitting 5 million units on Japanese shores.
Also confirmed was that Final Fantasy XIII is the biggest selling title for the PS3 in Japan with sales hitting 1.8 million since its release there last December. The 2nd biggest PS3 software seller on Japanese shores was Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots which sold 706k and Yakuza 4 was third with 536k copies being sold.
So it seems now, That the Playstation 3 is starting to make its mark in all territories around the globe and with a bright future for the console coming up in 2010 and beyond, it’s only a matter of time before more Playstation 3 units are sold globally.
