Crossbar Challenger is the latest flick kick football game to make it’s way onto the app store, but it’s a little bit more than just a game, it’s also a fundraising device for amateur football teams, as it creator Benn Carson explains:

The setup is pretty simple.
- Go to the Crossbar Challenge website
- Book a Date.
- Ask all involved in your club and their family and friends to buy the product on your chosen date.
- Receive a cheque for the funds you have raised paid directly to your organisation, you will get .25p per sale of the app from all sales across the world on that day not just the sales you have promoted.
That’s it. An excellent way to raise some cash for your club. For those of you not involved directly with a club, you can purchase on the 30th of January to make a donation to Marie Curie Cancer Care.
